Oscar Manuel Diaz

I have lived in Nampa, ID since 1994, but I was born in El Salvador in 1991. I was adopted the same day I was born, went home with native Salvadorians - Oscar and Ana. The civil war tore that country apart and when I came in the picture, my family dreamed of a better future then what El Salvador had to offer in the 90’s so we migrated here.

I went on to graduate from Nampa High in 2010. I got my bachelors degree in Christian Ministry from Northwest Nazarene University in 2015. Did ministry for a few years until life sorta happened - was married, stepped down from the ministry and navigated a new landscape in 2019.

My parent’s opened a restaurant in Caldwell and when Covid-19 hit, I was the one that called them to tell them they had to close their store and could only offer to-go orders. They were overwhelmed so I said, “How about I bring my camera and help you with your social media.”

Little did I know I was unveiling a deep passion in my life - working with small business owners to help tell their story on social media.

I first picked up my camera in 2011 to help the church I was attending with their website and in May 2021, I took the risk and left my nest. When I went full-time, I had no clue how it’d pan out, all I knew was that I had to leave the nest - risk the flight as there was not back-up plan - sink or swim.

I thrive when I get to create genuine/authentic content for my clients. You’ve proably seen my editing style when it comes to video but I don’t love the heavy transitions and overtly dramatic edits. I keep it genuine to your brand and your voice.

I tell your story.

I put people first & would love to get the chance to hear your story and see how I might be able to come alongside your brand and help you tell it to the people of the Treasure Valley and beyond to get it to the next level.
